How to care for your Glamswag
Keep your Glamswag looking and feeling it's best
Outback Glamswags & Covers
PRODUCT CARE
Due to the waxed canvas component the Outback range of GlamSwags shouldn’t be washed in hot water, or a washing machine. We recommend hand washing in cool/tepid water.
We also recommend using a fabric protector on the cotton plaid top so that most spills/marks can be easily wiped off.
There are now safe and eco-friendly products available, here’s a couple that we’ve used:
HOW TO CLEAN WAXED CANVAS
Shake or brush off dirt, sand or any other abrasive material.
For small spots, use cold water and mild soap, and a sponge or brush.
With a little soap, gently massage the spotted surface.
Rinse with a sponge and cold water. Let the bag air dry.
CLEANING OF PLAID COVER
Spray fabric protector on the plaid before first use and leave to dry. It’s then very easy to sponge clean.
CLEANING OF INNER
The inners are dry clean only.
AVOIDING MOULD
Before storage please make sure that your GlamSwag is completely dry as, like most natural fabrics, they can attract mould in high humidity areas.
Linen Glamswags, Throws & Covers
LINEN COVER
Machine wash on gentle cycle, preferably by itself.
Air dry (preferably) or tumble dry on a linen or delicate setting.
Please avoid prolonged exposure to sun as, like most natural fabrics, the colour may fade.
INNER
Fluff and air regularly to maintain its shape and fluffiness.
Dry clean only.
If it happens to get wet then air on the clothes line and fluff when completely dry.
AVOIDING MOULD
Before storage please make sure that your GlamSwag is completely dry as, like most natural fabrics, they can attract mould in high humidity areas.
